Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Kleanup Games ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit chromadi.fun or play CHROMADI (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep the data we collect to the minimum the Service needs.

1. Who We Are

CHROMADI is made by Kleanup Games. If you have any question about this policy or your information, contact us at kleanup@kleanupgames.com.

2. Information We Collect

You can play CHROMADI without an account. Depending on how you use the Service, we collect:

• Account information. If you create an account, your email address and password. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see or store them.
• Player profile and scores. A player ID, your username (one you choose, or one generated for you) and your game scores. Your username and scores appear publicly on the leaderboards.
• Donation information. If you donate, the payment provider sends us an order reference, the donation tier, the payment status and the player or guest ID it was made with. We never receive your card or bank details.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and service providers automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location (country) and the pages you request, to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
• Information stored on your device. See section 5.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To run the game, your account, your username and the leaderboards.
• To process donations and keep a record of them.
• To remember your settings, such as language, volume and the CRT effect.
• To show advertising that helps keep CHROMADI free (see section 6).
• To keep the Service secure, prevent cheating and abuse, and fix problems.
• To meet our legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you (running the game and your account), our legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving the Service), your consent (personalised advertising and non-essential cookies, where required) and legal obligations (such as keeping payment records).

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Service Providers We Share Information With

We use these companies to run the Service. They process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, security and content delivery. Privacy policy
• Google Firebase — account sign-in. Privacy information
• Unity Gaming Services — player accounts, usernames and leaderboards. Privacy policy
• Google AdSense — advertising (see section 6). Privacy policy
• Xsolla — processes donations made on the site. Xsolla is the seller of record and handles your payment details directly. Privacy policy
• Ko-fi — if you donate through Ko-fi, you leave our site and Ko-fi's own terms and privacy policy apply. Privacy policy

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our players or others, or as part of a transfer of the Service to a new owner.

Links to Discord, GitHub, WhatsApp and other sites take you to services we do not control; their own privacy policies apply.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The site saves a few things in your browser so it works the way you left it:

• your language, volume and CRT settings;
• whether you've already seen the intro and welcome screens this session;
• a random guest ID, used only to attribute a donation made without an account;
• your sign-in session, kept by Firebase so you stay signed in;
• the game's own saved data and cached files.

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. Doing so resets your settings and signs you out. Advertising cookies are described in the next section.

6. Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's My Ad Center, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.
• Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you'll be asked for consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep account, username and score information for as long as your account exists. Leaderboards reset regularly, but past scores may be kept in our records. Donation records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Technical logs held by our providers are kept for short periods according to their own policies.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, including deleting your account and its scores, email kleanup@kleanupgames.com. We may need to confirm that the account is yours before acting on a request. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

CHROMADI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Players under the age of digital consent where they live (up to 16 in some countries) need a parent or guardian's permission to create an account. If you believe a child has given us personal information without that permission, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security and International Transfers

All traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS), and we rely on established providers to store account and payment information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own; where required, they use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We'll change the "Last Updated" date above and, for significant changes, let players know on the site.
